Defence Forces Cadet Classes (including Air Corps) 1928-2013Official photographs taken of all Cadet Classes from the 1st Cadet Class 1928 to the 88th Cadet Class 2013. Located within the Military College, the Cadet School is the training institution with responsibility for the training and education of officer cadets for the Defence Forces. The Cadet School has a long and proud tradition having been founded in 1928 and since that date has seen over 2,700 graduates gain commissioned rank in the Permanent Defence Forces. This album also contains 44 photographs of Air Corp Cadets who trained in Baldonnell aerodrome after their initial Cadet training.

Private Collection of Richard Hanley - 25 Infantry Battalion433186 Private Richard Hanley served from 21 August 1940 to 24 January 1946 as a company clerk with the 25 Infantry Battalion. During his service in the National Emergency Richard recorded numerous events with his personnel camera. These images form part of Richard's private collection deposited with Military Archives and where also used in "The Nation's Profoundly Grateful" published by Military Archives in 1996
